This year we will be spending three days covering SEMA; Wednesday, October 31st through Friday, November 2nd. In that time we will be covering more than 1 million square feet of car show and conducting meetings, interviews and photo-ops with everyone from ALMS and IRL racecar drivers to industry leaders and television and sports personalities.

Yes, that does mean we will be spending Halloween in Las Vegas…expect epic product model pictures this year. You’re welcome.

No trip to Las Vegas should be complete without some seat time in car making the trek through Red Rocks Canyon.

Outside of our time spent encamped at the Las Vegas Convention Center we will also be spending some quality drive time in an array of 2013 cars at the famous Red Rocks Canyon, just outside of Las Vegas.

The scenic vistas of the Yosemite Valley beckon a midst the backdrop of the iconic “El’ Capitaine” rock face.

Next we head north, on a path that will take us to Mona Lake before crossing into California via the Tioga Pass (fingers crossed a freak early-season snow storm doesn’t close the pass) which cuts right through the heart of the Yosemite National Park and leads you straight to the iconic Yosemite Valley.

Tesla Motors has emerged as the clear leader in mass-marketed electric car innovation and we’re looking forward to touring their new facilities in the San Francisco Bay area.

The last leg of our west-coast journey takes us west from Yosemite to San Francisco, California where we will tour the new Tesla factory and spend some quality time with their innovative new Model S electric car.
