The 7th Annual Orlando Festivals of Speed Car Show

It was a beautiful December afternoon on December 2nd, the perfect sort of winter day in Florida with with mild temperatures, clear skies and ample sunlight perfectly punctuated by passing clouds. The perfect day to be spent outside perusing the perfectly manicured grounds of the Ritz Carlton Orlando Grande Lakes, gracious host to this year’s 7th annual Orlando Festivals of Speed exotic car show.

The V8 Vantage was initially powered by a 4.3 L (4300 cc) quad-cam 32-valve V8 which produced 380 hp at 7,300 rpm and 302lb·ft at 5,000 rpm. However models produced after 2008 had a 4.7 liter 420 hp V8.

Highlights of the show included numerous McLaren MP4-12C’s, including the all new convertible model, multiple Bugatti Veyrons including the one of a kind Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Sang Bleu and of course a plethora of various Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Aston Martin and so much more.

Some of our staff favorites: the all new-to-America BMW X1, the Ferrari Enzo and FF, the always eye catching Aston Martin Vanquish and of course the incredibly rare star of the show. the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Sang Bleu. Not a show favorite per say but one that none the less deserves mention as it did make us all collectively scratch our heads;  a mirror wrapped Infiniti G37…so ridiculously shiny and blindingly reflective as to be wholly illegal and terrifying to just imagine on the roads of Florida or at large.
