This Model Monday We Celebrate The Elegantly Sexy Beauty of California’s One and Only Cora Skinner
Cora Skinner is one of those extremely beautiful and talented west-coast glamour models we’ve admired for some time but not yet had the good fortune to shoot with. In possession of a simple and sultry elegance we’ve always been fans of Cora’s and have enjoyed watching her portfolio grow and mature over the years. This Model Monday we take a moment to once again appreciate the beauty and professionalism of southern California’s Cora Skinner.

Cora Leigh Skinner was born on June 18, 1985, in Alexandria, Virginia, but her formative years were spent on a sprawling ranch in Creston, California. Cora Skinner enjoyed an active childhood that brought activities like track and field, cheer-leading and gymnastics her way. Cora Skinner’s taller and skinnier body made her stand out from her classmates and, since her older sister was interested in fashion, Cora Skinner acted as her model when needed.
Not until Cora moved down to Los Angeles to attend Long Beach State did she realize how many opportunities there were for her to pursue a modeling career. While studying accounting in college, Cora entered into an International Swimsuit Competition on The Best Damn Sports Show, and ended up getting a Top Ten title and an interview on the show. From there, she signed with an agency and began pursuing modeling full-time. Cora’s striking beauty and hourglass figure have made her a hot commodity for print ads and catalogs. Cora has been featured in national advertisements for Guess, Ed Hardy, Kay Jewelers, Palms Casino, Monster Energy, Two and a Half Men, Strut, and Guitar Hero. Her face has graced the pages of magazines such as Maxim, Muscle & Fitness, Import Tuner, FHM, Modern Bride, and Passport to Paradise, as well as in catalogs like Fredericks of Hollywood, Dreamgirl Lingerie, Apparel West, Miracle Suit, Fashion Nights, Private Label, and Kitty Chen Couture. The rest…well the rest is as they say history.
Cora has also taken the jump into TV. You might have seen her presenting trophies at the Emmys, dressed up like a superhero in a skit for Spike TV’s Scream Awards, or in several live skits on Jay Leno’s Tonight Show. She has also been featured on such shows as Las Vegas, Shark, Deal or No Deal, Chuck, Rules of Engagement, CSI Miami and The Office. Cora was also approached by Def Leopard to shoot a video for their single “Nine Lives,” and in Lionel Richie’s “Just Go.”
