This Throwback Thursday We Take A Trip Back To 2006 With Volusia County Model Chelsea Kaminski On the Uber M3 Shoot
Step into our time machine and let’s take a trip back to the late Spring of 2006 when we shot a then sixteen year old modeling newcomer Chelsea Kaminski with the “Uber” E46 M3 in Winter Park, Florida on the beautiful campus of Rollins College. Yep, it’s Throwback Thursday!

What a long day, we all still remember well. The morning started bright and early with a 9am BMW meet in Brandon Florida just outside of the Best Buy. 90-minutes of Teutonic parking lot comradeship was then followed by a trip down Interstate 4 to Orlando for a series of test shoots with new potential models at the now to be demolished Mercado complex on International Drive.
These shoots proved interesting, and many of the models we first test shot with this day would later be seen in the pages of Down Shift Magazine…then there was the one that our photographers nicknamed “The Shim,” it still haunts our dreams before each test shoot. But we put that experience behind us…we promise ourselves at least. Sorry Patrick! If nothing else a good reminder as to why we developed the test-shoot rule.

Test-Shooting models inside the Mercado through the middle part (least desirable lighting) of the day we were kept busy but as 4pm approached we quickly wrapped things up and headed off to nearby Winter Park, Florida and the Rollins College campus to shoot our Uber E46 M3 feature with the lovely Ukrainian model Ksenia Cruey and a Volusia county new-comer Chelsea Kaminski. Though only sixteen at the time, Chelsea had a look and modeling talent well beyond her years that paired perfectly with the more experienced and eastern-european exotic look of Ksenia. Both models were terrific to work with and this was a completely enjoyable shoot with Matt Uber’s E46 M3. Special thanks to the Rollins College campus PD for being such good sports the entire time we were shooting and helping out. Good times some seven years ago spent with good friends, good co-workers and two terrific modeling talents. Happy Throwback Thursday!
