Visiting factories in Japan has become an increasingly popular pastime in recent years with some plant fans infatuated to the point of even spending evenings visiting industrial sites…we’re pretty sure that most of our readers would call that an evening well-spent, particularly when the car being manufactured there is none other than Nissan’s storied GT-R.


As you can see in the video, the Nissan GT-R, one of fastest production cars in the world, is assembled on the same line as several other high-end models, although periodically extra hands are needed for the supercar, such as when the engine is finished.

Given the freezing temperatures in Tochigi, we’re not entirely sure we would want to spend night viewing the plant, but having spoken with some fellow journalists who have done this…they highly recommend watching a GT-R being built and more.
