Former Top Gear fans unite…it’s now 100% official. At least according to a recent Tweet by Jeremy Clarkson himself, filming for the brand new Amazon Prime automotive show has officially kicked-off! Avid fans for many years, we are Down Shift are beyond excited and look forward to welcoming the dynamic British trio back into our living rooms very soon. And by the looks of the picture Clarkson posted, they’re off to a good start with a vehicle lineup that consists of a LaFerrari, Porsche 918 and McLaren P1. Oh and what Clarkson refers to as a “skeleton crew”, of you know like 50 people.
Ever since the Clarkson punch-out, the three former Top Gear men have been the talk of the automotive world as we all waited with baited breath to see where they’d collectively land and while they teased NetFlix, in the end it was Amazon prime that sealed the deal.
So while it’s good to see Clarkson, Hammond and May filming there’s still no launch date for the nameless car show. We’ll continue to stalk Clarkson, Hammond and May’s Twitter feeds to see what they’re up to and wait for the latest news and updates.
