Mainly new cars have been teased on social media by Slightly Mad Studios in the last couple of weeks, but now we get to see a new track coming to Project CARS 2 too – Circuit of the Americas.
Having only opened its gates in 2012, Circuit of the Americas in Austin is still very new. However, it has been hosting MotoGP, F1 and WEC races ever since and was only available in three sims so far, iRacing, the Forza series and the F1 series.
Most likely, the Grand Prix circuit will be in-game, if any other layouts will make it too though is yet to be disclosed.
In the teaser, we can see two McLaren F1 GTR’s roaring down the main straight, which is quite an unusual car and track combination, but nevertheless a pretty spectacular one.
Another two cars have been teased too. A Jaguar, which is most likely the F-Type SVR teased a couple of weeks ago, and an old LMP car. At least the LMP car is not 100% identifiable, so we will have to wait for confirmation by Slightly Mad Studios.
Two new screenshots of Long Beach have been posted too. Although we knew that this track was on its way, it is great to see that progress is being made.
Seeing all this output of screenshots and even videos of, Project CARS 2 might be on track to make its release date later this year, in September.
